2.08- Continuing Education Units
To establish the process of awarding continuing education units to individuals for completion of non-credit courses.
The college will award appropriate continuing education units (CEUs) for non-credit courses completed under college sponsorship with qualified instructors. Awarding of CEUs will be consistent with processes of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.
The college will award continuing education units (CEUs) to individuals completing the necessary work through non-credit programs established by the Center for Workforce Development. Courses and content will be consistent with the philosophy of instructional quality of the college. Continuing education units will be awarded on the ratio of 10 contact hours of participation to one CEU as established by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.
This policy is maintained under the authority of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
