Roy Blunt Aviation
Training Center
About the Center
The A&P program and training center was made possible through numerous partnerships with local and national stakeholders. Funding was received from federal, state, county and city sources. In addition, partnerships with the Springfield-Branson National Airport, Worldwide Aircraft Services and Envoy Airlines were instrumental in bringing this space to life.
Facility Features
Learning Environment
The building features four classrooms, two lab spaces and an observation lounge. In our nearly 11,000-square-foot hanger, students have the opportunity to practice skills on a range of aircraft. Our fleet includes four airplanes, including a King Air with turbo-propeller engines, and one helicopter.
Observation Lounge
The observation lounge provides the perfect space for students to study or eat lunch in between classes. It can also be utilized as a meeting space, providing the perfect space for the Aviation Community for Excellence (ACE), a student organization for students interested in aviation programs at Ozarks Tech.
