Integrated Planning Overview

Component Definitions

Program Review

A data-informed, self-evaluation conducted by program/department leadership and faculty/staff. Reflective questions are provided, based on HLC Criteria, Ozarks Tech Strategic Plan, and OTC Cares initiatives, that help the program/department determine its effectiveness through an examination of strengths, areas of concerns, student learning outcomes, etc.

Three-Year Plan

Future plans developed by program/department leadership, with input from program/departmental team members and leadership, designed to align priorities identified by the college and also the respective program/department for the upcoming three-years. Plans include goals and initiatives linked to measurable benchmarks, and requests for new resources.

New Resource Request

New budgetary items requested, including capital projects, technology requests, equipment requests, personnel, and one-time needs. These requests do not include items that can be funded by existing Operational Budgets, or by reallocating budgets within planning units.

  • The faculty/staff member’s Dean, Associate Vice Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, or Executive Vice Chancellor.
  • A representative from the Integrated Planning Team.
  • Two peer reviewers from other areas of the college.
  • It is encouraged that as many of the full-time faculty members or full-time staff members of the program/department attend as possible.
