Catherine Moore is an attorney at Kirkland Woods & Martinson LLP. Ms. Moore was elected to the OTC Board of Trustees in 2022 and currently serves as Secretary.

Ms. Moore joined Kirkland Woods & Martinson in 2018 and practices primarily in the firm’s office in Springfield. She focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and probate administration, business succession planning and mediation. Ms. Moore also practiced in the Kansas City area for five years before moving to Springfield with her family. In addition to her legal practice, she has served as an adjunct professor teaching a graduate level Communication and Negotiation course at Missouri State University.

Ms. Moore received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a LL.M. in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri – Columbia. While at UMKC, Ms. Moore was an intern law clerk for the Chief Judge of the US District Court for the District of Kansas, served on the staff of The Urban Lawyer and was the Chief Judge of the Honor Court.

Ms. Moore is involved in several organizations in the Springfield community as a board member and volunteer. In addition to her service at OTC, she currently serves as a board member of the Springfield Branson National Airport Board, Springfield Greene County Library Board of Trustees, and Mercy Hospital Health Foundation Board. She is a past president of the Junior League of Springfield and past board member of Isabel’s House Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks, Child Advocacy Center and the Springfield Ballet.
